‘EFCC Should Also Investigate Olu Maintain’ – Jahbless

Nigerian rapper,Jahbless, has reacted to the ongoing controversy between Ruggedman and Naira Marley.

Jahbless in reacting to the arrest of Naira Marley and Ruggedman’s statement after the arrest, has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate songs like Yahooze and Maga by Olu Maintain.

News broke out on Friday morning that EFCC had arrested Naira Marley, later in the day, it was discovered that the anti-graft agency also arrested Zlatan Ibile over alleged crime of internet fraud.

While speaking on a show, veteran rapper, Ruggedman commended the anti-graft agency for apprehending the duo.

However, in his post addressed to Ruggedman, Jahbless noted that Nigeria would be a better place if other artistes speak up on civil rights, the way Ruggedman does.

The ‘Owambe’ crooner, who made reference to American rappers; Jay-Z and Rick Ross, who sing about crime, however, pointed out that if Naira Marley and Zlatan are picked up for their creative process, then songs like ‘Yahooze, Maga’ should be investigated.
