Togo’s Emmanuel Adebayor has made a shocking move to Paraguay where he would be representing Paraguayan outfit, Olimpia.
The Togolese who at different points represented heavyweights like Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Tottenham is set for a stint in the South American nation, where he will be reunited with former ManCity teammate, Roque Santa Cruz.
Adebayor arrived Olimpia on Tuesday with the club announcing the arrival of the striker.

The duo of Cruz and Adebayor both made way to City in 2009, but neither of them could really make their mark.
For the latter, his best playing days were at Arsenal, featuring for the North London club in over 100 Premier League games.
During his time at City, the 35-year-old was sent out on loan to Real Madrid and Tottenham before joining the Lilywhites on a permanent transfer.
Later in the Togo International’s striker career, he featured for represented Crystal Palace, Istanbul BB and Kayserispor, managing only two goals in eight appearances for the latter where he left as a free agent in December.
Adebayor is now at his 10th professional side since he left his home country, Togo in 2001 to move to France where he represented Ligue 1 outfits, Metz and Monaco.
