Everton’s current second-choice goalkeeper is 36-year-old Dutchman Maarten Stekelenburg, who has one year left on his existing deal. Stekelenburg moved to join the Toffees from Fulham during the reign of Ronald Koeman.

With Pickford established as the main man between the sticks for both club and country, Lossl can anticipate being an understudy in Marco Silva’s squad.
