Lucas Moura whose hattrick single-handedly swept Spurs through to the Champions League finals was also overlooked for a place in Tite’s midfield.

Manchester United pair of Andreas Perreira and Fred, West Ham’s Felipe Anderson and Manchester City’s Danilo couldn’t find a place in a team that is packed with big names who play for top clubs all across Europe.

There was no room for Real Madrid’s Marcelo and youngster, Vinicius Junior while David Neres of Ajax who has only one International cap to his name was given the nod.
