  1. Husseini Adamu Federal polytechnic, Kazaura, Jigawa state

Also referred to as HAFEDPOLY. This academic institution was established in the year 1991. First as Jigawa State Polytechnic. Then the college was later renamed in 1998 to honour the former Emir of Kazaure, Alhaji Adamu. Then it was referred to as Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic. Finally in 2007, it was converted into a federal polytechnic.

Kaduna Polytechnic started out as Kaduna Technical Institute in 1956. However, it was upgraded to a polytechnic in 1968 by the Federal Government decree No 20 of 1968.  The Kaduna Polytechnic is rated as the biggest higher institution in Nigeria compared to universities, other polytechnics and colleges of education.

Kaduna Polytechnic Cut off marks

Kaduna polytechnic also popularly called KADPOLY is not especially selective when it comes to post UTME for candidates who choose either first or second choice. All candidates who chose the institution as either first or second choice and scored 100 and above in the UTME (for ND courses) and 120 and above for B.Tech courses. Such are eligible for post UTME screening exercise. So such candidates are usually expected to register for the exercise by paying a sum of N2000 (plus an additional N500 naira for bank charges).

  1. Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin-Kebbi

Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin-Kebbi was established in the year 1976. First as a College of Technology in Sokoto state. By 1980, the college was turned into a polytechnic called Polytechnic of Sokoto State. However, when the Kebbi state was created from Sokoto, the institution became the Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi. Furthermore in 2003, it was finally changed to “Waziri Umaru Polytechnic” in honour of the late Wazirin Gwandu, Alhaji Umaru Nassarawa who was a renowned educationist in northern Nigeria.

NAITES School Fees

Candidates granted admission into NAITEs are expected to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N10, 000. As this will serve as evidence of admission offer acceptance. Then, the prospective student will go ahead and pay school fees. So the school fees for NAITES is as listed below for each department.

More Importantly, NAITES accepts the payment of school fees in instalments. Specifically on a 60/ 40 % basis. SO a student can pay 60 % of school fees first. And then 40% later.

The Petroleum Institute Effurun, Delta state was established in the year 1973. The institute was founded as a prerequisite for Nigeria to become a member of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Companies (OPEC). PTI Admission Requirements

For Post HND

Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes at the ‘O’ Level in a maximum of two sittings. Also this must be in either the SSCE/NECO/WASSE/GCE (or its equivalent). In addition, the subjects should include English language, mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and either of biology, Agricultural Science, technical Drawing, or Further Mathematics. Furthermore, applicants must possess an HND with a minimum of Lower Credit pass from any recognized institution.

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N20, 000 for the post HND Application Form.

PTI UTME Cut Off Marks.

First, candidates should know that the set cut off mart for UTME of the Petroleum Institute Effurun is 120. So this means that candidates who scored 120 and above in their UTME and chose PTI, Effurun as their first choice qualify to apply for the pots UTME screening exercise.

However, candidates should note that the application for PTI Post UTME costs N2, 000

PTI School Fees

  1. For Post HND , the school fees for fresh students is N193,000
  2. MSc School fees for all courses is N1,200,000 for fresh students.
  3. For HND 1 students, the fees is N68,800
  4. The school fees for ND 1 fresh students is N67,200
  5. Finally for General Wielding Students, the school fees is N81,600
