Femi Fani-Kayode Appeals to Buhari Over Nnamdi Kanu

A strong critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Fani-Kayode is appealing to the president to allow peace reign during the burial of Nnamdi Kanu’s father.

It was reported that soldiers were seen in the town some days to the final burial expecting the IPoB leader to attend his father’s burial. From the look of things, it is looking like Kanu will be staying abroad to avoid being arrested.

Kanu is on bail over alleged treasonable felony and other offenses. He has escaped from the country failing to appear before the court for continuation of his trial.

Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister took to his Twitter page to make the appeal.

I make a solemn &humble appeal to @MBuhari  & the FG. Do NOT shed the blood of ANY mourner during the burial ceremony of @MaziNnamdiKanu‘s parents. The funeral rites must NOT be desecrated by the spilling of innocent blood. They deserve to be buried in peace &with honor & dignity,” he tweeted.
