Femi Fani Kayode – ‘Nigeria’s future will be determined by the National Assembly and the Judiciary’

– Femi Fani Kayode has stated that the future of Nigeria will be determined by the choices of the National Assembly and the Judiciary

– He stressed that Nigeria is at a cross road and the two arms of government must make a choice between Tyranny and Democracy

Former Min. of Information and Legal practitioner, Femi Fani Kayode SAN, in a recent statement had made it clear that the country is at a cross road.

He disclosed that only the choices and decisions that will be taken by the National Assemble (which comprises of the House of Representatives and Senate) and the Judiciary will determine the future of the country.

Femi Fani Kayode stressed that the National Assembly and the Judiciary have the choice to either choose to encourage tyranny and slavery or insist for freedom and Democracy.

The former Ministe in his statement via his online media said, ”The choices that the Judiciary and the Nat. Assembly make in the next few days will determine the future of Nigeria. We are at a crossroads. We either choose to perpetuate the tyranny and slavery of a crude, cruel and barbaric vassal state or we insist on freedom and democracy.”

He went on to cite an example of the case about late Gen. Patrick Azazi and compared with the case of the suspended CJN Walter Onnoghen.
Femi Fani Kayode said, “Gen. Patrick Azazi, the first and only southerner and Christian National Security Advisor in Nigeria was murdered and replaced by a northern Muslim. Justice Walter Onnoghen,the first southern and Christian CJN in 32 years was illegally removed and replaced by a northern Muslim.”
The Former minister statement is coming following the suspension of CJN Walter Onnoghen by the Federal Government based on an order from the Code of Conduct, Tribunal.
