About FUNAAB Admission

A lot of candidates apply to gain admission into Federal University of Agriculture, FUNAAB Abeokuta every year. As a result, Admission into the institution has become very competitive. Also the FUNAAB admission involves two major processes.

Firstly, indicate interest by applying for admission on the FUNNAB admission portal. Secondly, undertake the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (Computer-based) – UTME and DE candidates.

FUNAAB Admission List

FUNAAB admission list consists of the names of candidates who have been offered provisional admission into the institution.

The FUNAAB admission list is usually uploaded online in the admission portal every year. In this paragraph, you have a guideline on how to check your FUNAAB admission status on the portal.

First, Log on to the FUNAAB portal

Then, fill in your JAMB Registration number

Finally, find and click the “Check” button so as to view your admission status.

How to apply to FUNAAB Online

In order to gain admission into FUNAAB, candidates must apply. Therefore, all interested candidates are expected to carry out an online application on the FUNAAB portal. Below is admission application process

Step 1 of Application Process

First you fill in your 10 digit jamb registration number.
Secondly, proceed to fill in your basic information. Next, a Pre admission screening invoice will be generated. Then as described on the invoice, pay a sum of two thousand naira to any bank that accepts REMITA. These fees exclude REMITA charges.  You can also pay online using a credit card of internet banking.

Step 2

Complete the application form including your bio data, academic information as well as passport photographs. Importantly, you should save each page as you proceed with each step. Then after completion, review your entry before submission. As this will help your avoid mistakes.
Step 3

Print out your generated complete application form .
Important note: You cannot make any changes after submission. Therefore ensure you go over your entries before submission.

FUNAAB Admission Portal

The FUNAAB admission portal is a major hub for admission seeking candidates. Because there you can apply for the FUNAAB admission. Also, you can register for the pre admission screening exercise. Furthermore, it is on the FUNAAB portal that you will register for Post UTME/DE screening and check your admission status.

FUNAAB Admission Requirements

1. All interested applicants must posses at least 5 credits in relevant subjects. In addition, these credits could be from one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB or NECO
2. Apart from the five O’ level credits, candidates must have chosen FUNAAB as their fist choice institution in the JAMB forms.
3. A pass in Physics may be acceptable for courses in Agricultural Programmes. In addition, Agricultural programme courses accept a pass in biology combined with credit in agricultural science. Furthermore, for Water resources management, a credit in geography is required.
4. Fill out your results online via the FUNNAB portal

FUNAAB Pre admission Screening Exercise for UTME/DE Candidates

There is quite a high number of candidates seeking admission into FUNNAB. As a result, all interested candidates will be subject to a pre admission screening exercise.

First, you will check out the screening schedule on the FUNAAB official website. Then you will print it out for the Computer based screening test.

The FUNNAB pre screening exercise is for both  the UTME and DE candidates. In addition, the pre screening exercise is mandatory.

FUNAAB Post UTME

To qualify for the FUNAAB Post UTME exercise screening for FUNAAB, candidates are expected to have scored at least 180 marks in their UTME for Agricultural Courses and 200 as a minimum for engineering courses.

FUNAAB Direct Entry DE Admission

For candidates interested in admission into FUNAAB through direct entry, certain requirements are obtainable. First, candidate must meet all requirement concerning O’ level credits. Meanwhile, they must meet the requirement for OND, NCE or HND.
First, a minimum of Upper credit in OND and HND and Credit at NCE.
Secondly, at least two A-level /IJMB/JUBEB passes in mathematics and Chemistry. Also in Physics, Biology/Zoology/Botany

Consequently, candidates are expected to submit their transcripts to the registrar.

NOTE: Lower credit is not accepted for DE into FUNAAB

Importantly, candidates must not make any payment unless requirements are met. In addition, payment made for admission screening without meeting requirement is non refundable. Moreover, candidates without requirements may have their admission withdrawn.
