Gov. Abiola Ajimobi advises Governor-elect Seyi Makinde on what to do

– Gov. Abiola Ajimobi advised Governor-elect, Seyi Makinde on what to do and improve on in his Government

– The current Governor disclosed his administration will continue to work on the security of the state

Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi in a recent statement has reached out to the winner of the Oyo state Governorship election, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

Gov. Ajimobi in his statement also advised the Governor-elect on what to do during his own administration which would begin on the 29th of May when he is sworn in.

The Gov. urged Seyi Makinde to improved on the bad things his (Ajimobi) administration had done.

He however also disclosed that there are some good things the Governor-elect can learn from his administration.

Gov. Abiola Ajimobi in a statement with the press said, “Even if we have done bad things in some areas, we have done many good things that outweighed those supposed bad things.

“The fact that we lost in the election does not mean we should throw away the baby with the bath water.

“I think there are good things he can learn from us and good things we will be ready to give him to take from. And for the bad ones, let him adjust and improve on them.”

Gov. Ajimobi also spoke on the security in Oyo State as he reacted to the recent violence in the state during the 2019 Governorship Election that saw to the death of Rep. Temitope Olatoye of ADP Akinyemi/Lagelu.

Ajimobi hinted that prior to the proper handing over on the 29th of May, his administration will continue to see to the improvement of security in the state.

Engr. Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP was declared the winner of Oyo State Governorship Election by INEC.
