Hazard Brothers Demolish Russia In Euro 2020 Qualifiers

Eden Hazard scored twice as well as helped his brother, Thorgan to a goal as Belgium thrashed Russia 4-1.

With that win, they have now secured nine wins our of nine and are guaranteed top spot in Euro 2020 qualifying Group I.

With just a round of games remaining, both Belgium at 27 points and second-placed Russia at 21 points are guaranteed of a place in next year’s tournament.

At the interval, the visiting side were already three points up.

Russia did improve after the interval, sending out their war dogs after a dominant Belgium but the visitors proved too wrong.

Rather than sit back and absorb all the pressure, the visitors attacked Russia’s shaky backline through Romelu Lukaku who wasted no time in dispatching the ball into goal. The Inter Milan striker has now found the net for Belgium on 54 occasions.

However, it wasn’t all gloom for Russia. They did find a consolation goal in the final minutes of the encounter and it was none other than Georgi Dzhikiya who got the goal.
