Hazard Suffer Injury Blow | Gives Room For Bale

Real Madrid have suffered an injury blow with Eden Hazard nursing a injury complaint in what could force manager, Zinedine Zidane to seek other alternatives for the Belgian in their Celta Vigo opener.

With the former Chelsea man picking up an hamstring injury, his debut for the Spanish giants is now delayed.

Hazard a much touted Madrid player shipped from Chelsea for a fee of £88 million would have loved to play a prominent role in the Blancos season but would now have to sit out Madrid’s opening games.

After suffering an unfortunate knock, the Belgian will now be condemned to the stands for the Spanish giants opener.

The injury blow was revealed to the footballing world via a statement on the club’s official website which read:

“After the tests carried out after training today by the Real Madrid Medical Services, our player Eden Hazard has been diagnosed with a lesion in the anterior rectus of the left thigh.”

Hazard is expected to be missing three to four weeks. If that be the case, the winger would be unavailable for Madrid till the first International break of the 2019/20 campaign.

Before the break, the Galacticos are poised to lock horns with Celta, Real Valladolid and Villareal.

The Belgian is expected to be just back in time for the game against Levante.

As it stands, Zidane would be forced to look to Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez who had both sparked transfer speculations during the summer as one of them might now have a big role to play in Hazard’s stead.

The French gaffer on Bale said: “It seemed that he was going, but now he is with us.

“Things change and now I will be using him as much as the other players in the squad. I’m going to use all the players I’ve got.

“He is registered with us and he is a good player. I hope all the players here want to make things difficult for me.”
