Hideo Itami Has Officially Been Released From The WWE | Says Thank You

The WWE have officially released Hideo Itami alongside Tye Dillinger and TJP. The No. 1 sporting Entertainment Company revealed this via their official website, WWE.com.

This announcement has caught many by surprise despite the Japanese star having made his intents about leaving the WWE known earlier on.

The timing of the release has caused more surprise with the release coming at the same time with that of Tye Dillinger and JJP.

Recall that Tye Dillinger only some days ago sent in a request to be released from the WWE as filed in an earlier report by iDONSABI.com.

Hideo Itami has now broken silence concerning news of his departure from the company in a statement made via his Twitter handle.

The WWE had written: “WWE has come to terms on the release of Kenta Kobayashi” with the Japanese star replying only with a simple “Thank you”

The NOAH star made a name for himself under the Pro Wrestling NOAH banner where he established himself as one of Japan’s top dogs.

Itami who is also a former GHC Champion has shared the ring with top guns in Japan and in the US as part of ROH before moving on to sign for the WWE in 2015 where he uses the name Kenta.

He had a solid start to his NXT career earning him a promotion to 205 Live. That said, a career plagued by injuries has hampered his chances of earning more promotions by the company officials before his release.

Where next could the former NXT star be headed to rather than his homeland Japan where he excelled as a wrestler.

It is expected that Hideo Itami makes a return to Pro Wrestling NOAH where Cody and The Bucks could battle for him with All Elite Wrestling having signed most of the best talents available.
