Ibrahimovic Suggests Move To Swedish Club, Hammarby

Zlatan Ibrahimovic amidst a myriad of transfer speculations has appeared to have given a hint as to where his future lies.

The former Manchester United forward has now suggested that he night be headed back to Hammerby in his homeland, Sweden.

He teased a possible move to the Swedish side via  a post he made on social media.

The 38-year-old who was released by MLS side, LA Galaxy on a free, published an animation of a Hammarby shirt bearing his name, a post which he shared on his Instagram account.

In his post he tagged the club’s official account but made no further revelation about the details of the post.

The club’s communication manager, Axel Pershagen has since denied the striker’s move to the club

“Zlatan has not joined us yet. If he had signed a contract it would be on our website.”

Ibrahimovic has been on the lookout for a new club since he left LA Galaxy in November.

The 38-year-old who has routinely be linked to several Serie A clubs has never hidden from speculation about his future and has often fuelled such rumours.

The Swede suggested sometime in October that he could return to Spain. However, the tease li ater proved to be a promotion for a new commercial venture.

The Swede’s boss at LA Galaxy, Guillermo Barros Schelotto claimed the charismatic striker was poised to end his career in the Serie A.

Although a return to AC Milan has been mooted, Bologna, where his confidant Sinisa Mihajlovic is in charge, is a possible destination as well.

AC Milan boss, Stefano Pioli dubbed Ibra as a great champion but insisted that January additions aren’t tabled for discussion at the San Siro yet, while Jose Mourinho also ruled out the possibility of the enigmatic striker making a move to the London stadium.
