‘If Your Boss Can’t Trust You, Why Are You Still There?’, Fani Kayode Hits At Osinbajo Again
- Fani-Kayode takes a swipe at Osinbajo and Customs boss.
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has come against Vice President Yemi Osinbajo again over the signing into law the Production Sharing Contract.
The bill was brought to the president while on vacation in London.
The President via his Twitter handle revealed the development.

“This afternoon I assented to the bill amending the Deep Offshore (and Inland Basin Production Sharing Contract) Act. This is a landmark moment for Nigeria; let me use this opportunity to thank the National Assembly for the cooperation that produced this long-overdue amendment,” Buhari wrote on his Twitter handle.

Reacting to the development, Fani-Kayode wonders what Osinbajo is doing as a Vice President who is not trusted by his principal than resigning from the post.

“How do you describe a VP that insists on remaining in office after his boss refuses to hand over power to him when he goes on leave and instead gets his Chief of Staff to fly over to London to sign legislative bills into law? If your boss can’t trust you why are you still there?”, he tweeted.

He also took a swipe at the Controller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Hameed Ali, who said the Nigerian borders will remain closed until its set objectives are achieved. Ali had cited an example of China which closed its border for 40 years and they survived.
