According to a report, a coalition force of the All Progressive Congress APC in Imo State has slammed Rochas Okorocha over anti-party activities.

Okorocha had gone against the wish of the APC after the party refused his desire to have his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu succeed him as the Governor of the state.

The former commission for information, who happens to be the convener for the  APC coalition in the state, Theodore Ekechi alongside members in Imo state, applauded the people for voting against Rochas Okorocha.

This is because the people of Imo instead voted for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP,  Emeka Ihediora over Okorocha’s candidate, Uche Nwosu of Action Action AA.

Below is an extract from the statement released by the APC coalition in Imo State,

Diligently and dutifully, some of us who were close to him on the account that we worked in his administration, on numerous occasions, advised him against most of his anti people policies and openly counseled him against the syndrome of his self-exaggerated opinion of his popularity.

“But it is like the stubborn tsetse fly, he could only hear the voice of his even greedier, unforgiving and more ambitious spouse and therefore eventually ended in the grave along with the coffin.

“Probably, Okorocha’s greatest undoing was his laughable and nauseating attempt of brazenly foisting his errand-boy son-in-law who then doubled as his chief of staff as his successor, thereby reducing succession to a lowly, sexually transmitted process.”

In another report, the Independent National Electoral Commisson INEC handed certificate of return to newly elected senators today in Abuja but Rochas Okorocha was absent.
