Indigenes of Bayelsa Community Flee from Homes Over Alleged Military Invasion

People living in Bilabiri communities in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State have fled from their homes following the alleged military invasion of the community on Friday morning.

This is coming on the heel murder of some military personnel in the community two weeks ago.

It was gathered that the alleged military invasion occurred around 10 am this morning, with houses razed and properties destroyed. According to eyewitnesses, the indigenes have fled into the forest for their safety.
