INEC server: ‘With all these evidence?’, Reno Omokri Reacts to Tribunal Ruling

  • Omokri lamenst at tribunal’s judgement in spite of available evidence.
  • He lampoons Buhari for complaining about maltreatment of Nigerians abroad.

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the ruling of the presidential election tribunal which thrown out the request of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the February 23 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, for access to the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

iDONSABI reports that the five judges in a unanimous decision ruled that issues have been joined by parties (APC and PDP) on the existence or otherwise of the server, thereby turning down the request.

The tribunal, however, approved the request of the defendant, President Muhammadu Buhari to amend his response to Atiku.

Omokri, a staunch critic of the ruling government took to his Twitter page to react to the ruling, wondering if there will ever be justice in the country.

“BREAKING NEWS: The Election Petition Tribunal dismisses @Atiku ‘s plea to inspect @INECNigeria‘s server and then approves@MBuhari‘s plea to amend his response to HE Atiku. With all the evidence provided? Can there still be justice in Nigeria?,” he asked.

He also wondered about the kind of government president Buhari is running warning foreign countries against maltreating Nigerians.
