After her outburst on Yahoo boys, yesterday, banning them from buying her music. Simi has been attacked and bashed by fans and others who think calling out yahoo boys is not her job.
A comedian on Instagram with the name King Bright, in fact called her a hypocrite, saying in his one minute video that Simi shouldn’t call out yahoo boys if she won’t call out her politician friends and her female friends that sell their bodies.

Now Simi has a response. In her almost 2 minutes video on Instagram story. She revealed how sad it is that yahoo boys have ruined things for us in Nigeria. How many people can’t get the job of their dreams outside Nigeria because of the impression fraudsters like Yahoo Yahoo have painted them of Nigeria.
“Come on guys. They are laughing at us. They are laughing at us,” she said in the video.
“I’m repeating it because I see it. Do you know how many Nigerians go to business meetings and get opportunities outside Nigeria and are told “Sorry we can’t work with you because you’re Nigerian.”
“You don’t have to like me, you don’t have to listen to my music but you see I’m not the enemy,” The “Ayo” crooner continued, “I can easily sit down and pretend nothing is wrong. And just sit, make money, smile but I care too much. I don’t know how to be a passive person.”
“I have had friends that have done yahoo, I have had friends,” she repeated. “And they were open to me and I was open to them. And you’re saying let’s talk to the government. Let me tell you, the government will find their ways, they have power and connection.
“I’m not the enemy, I’ve never been the enemy, I don’t have anything to gain by talking about this. The only thing I’m gaining is insults from you people. I refuse to keep quiet because I’m scared of what people will say. I care and I want you to care too.” She ended the video.
