Kaduna Killing: Buhari’s Aide, Lauretta Onochie Lauds El-Rufa’i for Taking Responsibility

Lauretta Onochoe, a social media aide of President Muhammadu Buhari has lauded Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufa’i for taking responsibility for what happened in the state.

Bandits had on Sunday attacked people in Igabi and Giwa Local Government Areas, leaving over 50 people dead and burnt cars and other properties as well.

According to sources, the bandits launched the attacks in revenge against the villagers who they accused of providing information to security agencies.

The villagers reportedly told El-Rufa’i that the bandits are believed to have come from Katsina state to attack them.

The governor owned up to his responsibility and apologised for failing to protect them.

During his condolence visit, El-Rufa’i expressed sadness over the fatal attacks and assured them that security agencies will further step up operations to rout the bandits.

He also insisted that his administration will not succumb to granting the bandits amnesty.
