Kano: Ganduje and Sanusi relationship now cordial

– Gov. Ganduje and Emir Sanusi Lamido are now in good terms 

– The report made it known that the new relationship between the Kano State Governor and the Emir came to being after Gov. Fayemi and Aliko Dangote interfered

According to the latest report, the rift between the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and Emir Sanusi Lamido seems to be all over.

A report made it known that the two leaders met in Abuja on Friday and exchanged pleasantries.

Another report made it known that the renewed cordial relationship between Gov. Ganduje and Emir Sanusi Lamido came to being after Nigerian Billionaire, Aliko Dangote and the Gov. of Ekiti cum Chairman of Nigerian Governors Forum NGF, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi interfered in the matter.

The renewed relationship was also confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Gov. of Kano, Mr. Abba Anwar on Friday.

Abba Anwar in his statement said after the meeting in Abuja the duo of Gov. Ganduje and Sanusi exchanged pleasantries with each other.

He said, “As the two leaders met, they congratulated each other for the successful completion of the Ramadan Fast and the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

“Both leaders spoke and urged all Muslims to continue with the good teachings and spirit of the Fasting period of the Month of Ramadan.”

The Chief Press Secretary also revealed that Emir Sanusi also used the opportunity to congratulate Gov. Ganduje for the victory in his second term in office, “He also wished the governor successful tenure in office,” Anwar added.

He hinted that “For healthier relationship between the two institutions of government and Kano Emirate Council, the dialogues will continue.”

Prior to this, the Kano State Government on Thursday had queried the Sanusi led Emirate over alleged misappropriation of N3.4bn.
