A 27-year-old former Kenyan political aspirant, Ian-Harriel Kowiti has put up one of his testicles for sale for the sum of Sh500,000 (about N1.8m).
According Ian-Harriel Kowiti, he is s tired of living in abject poverty, hence his decision to sell one of his male members in exchange for money.
The former aspirant for Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat is also willing to sell one of his kidneys for Sh1.5 million (about N5.4m) for a local buyer, and three times that amount for an international buyer.
Kowiti, during an interview with the Nairobian said, “What is the need of having two of them (testicles) dangling between my legs if I can still do the job perfectly with just one?”
He also added that he doesn’t mind donating one of his kidney but that he is now financially constrained, so he doesn’t mind cash from any interested party.
In his words, “I wouldn’t mind donating my kidney, it’s only that I am now financially constrained and wouldn’t mind some cash in exchange for the organ. If I were to donate my kidney, the interested party would have to cater for the cost of surgery and my travel expenses, that is if the operation has to take place outside the country.”
Even though it is possible for a man to lead a healthy sex life with only one kidney, the idea of donating testicles has been dismissed by medical experts.
