Klopp Explains Why Livepool Are Uninterested In Bale

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has ruled out a move for troubled Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale this summer.

Bale is free to move away from the Santiago Bernabeu with Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane urging the Welshman to seek a future elsewhere.

A move to China has been mooted for Bale with the former Spurs man adamant and insistent on not being forced to move out of Madrid.

As things stand, no Premier League club has submitted any bids for the troubled player but Liverpool legend Paul Ince thinks the Reds should make a move for the Welshman if they can afford him.

However, Klopp has made a move to silence all rumours and speculations regarding the player moving to Anfield Stadium.

“I don’t know why these fantastic football players have such strange ideas,” Klopp said on Ince’s comments.

“Bale is a player of Real Madrid and if he leaves he will be outstandingly expensive, big wages, all that stuff.

“He is a really outstanding player, I like him a lot. He won the Champions League final pretty much alone two years ago.

Klopp suggested that the team wasn’t going to be about individuals, maintaining that he was working towards building a workable team that could reach their goals rather than invest hugely in individual talents.

“I don’t know what has happened but it is not just about him, it is about all these players.

“We have to create a team, a team is not a collection of individual players and then in the end you have the best.

“They have to work together, fit with each other and that is what we are working for, not going for these huge individual players.”

Liverpool has also been tipped to make a move for Nicolas Pepe but they look uninterested in making any big money moves like they did last summer bringing in the world’s most expensive center back and goalkeeper in Virgil Van Dijk and Allison.
