– Alh. Lai Mohammad has urged the peoples of Kwara to come out and vote in the 2019 Governorship and State Assembly Election
– He disclosed that their security is guaranteed as Pres. Buhari has given directives to Security Agencies
Like most other states in the country, Kwara state will also be having it 2019 Governorship and State Assembly Elections, which is expected to take place tomorrow on the 9th of March.
Nigerian Min. for Information and Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed in a statement in Kwara state on Thursday urged the people of the state to come and vote on Saturday.
He urged the voters to ignore attacks during the Saturday’s governorship and state assembly election.
Lai Mohammad, who happens to be the leader of the All Progressive Congress APC in the state accused the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party PDP of creating tension in the state.
The Min. in his statement however assured the voters of security during the election as he disclosed that Pres. Mohammadu Buhari has given directives to the security agencies.
Alh. Lai Mohammed also used the moment to canvass for votes for the Governorship candidate of the APC, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
The Min. of Information and Culture in his statement said,
“Please do not be intimidated by anyone. Nobody can tell you not to come out to vote. Please come out en masse to vote for APC on Saturday.
“The President has given the directive to all security agents that anyone who dares to disrupt Saturday’s election action will have himself to blame.
“After voting ensure that you wait to protect your votes until counting and accompany them to the collation centers.
“We will get our total independence from our oppressors on Saturday.”
