Ahmadu Belo University is commonly known and referred as ABU Zaria. It was established in the year 1962 and is one of the most prestigious universities in Nigeria. Furthermore, the institution boasts of  a number of alumni such as former vice president of Nigeria; Atiku Abubakar, former Nigerian president; Umaru Musa Yaradua, Senator Dino Melaye, former INEC Chairman; Attahiru Jega and Nuhu Ribadu. ABU Admission

Basically, candidates seeking admission into ABU must score at least 180 in their UTME exam. Also, such candidates must have selected ABU as their first choice institution. Then the candidates are also expected to have at least five O’level credits including English and mathematics.
