1. Snakes Force Liberian President, George Weah Out Of Office. 

Liberian President, George Weah has been forced of his office by two black snake found in the office of the president at Monrovia, capital city of Liberia.

Currently, the President is working from his private residence and the building of the office is currently shut down until April 22 after fumigation has been done.

2. The Elites’ Thirst For Power Cause Tribal And Religious Crises, says Emir of Kano. 

Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, Emir of Kano, believes that it is the political elites in the country that are responsible for manipulating the ongoing restructructuring of the country’s economy because of their selfish interest.

He made this known at the 9th Triennial National Conference of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria.

According to the emir, the manipulation and exploration of the country by elites has been the sole reason for communal violence and insecurity in the society.

3. Organized Labour Demands Immediate Implementation of New Wage. 

The Organized Labour comprising of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, have demanded all employers of labour, especially the federal and state government, to commence the payment of the signed 30,000 minimum wage immediately.

The union also appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly for their contributions in the passing the new wage to bill.

4. Easter: Fayose urges Nigerians Not to Give Up, Says There Are Better Days Ahead.

The former State Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has urged Nigerians not to give up on the country but rather keep hope alive on whatever challenges they were currently presently going through.

He made this known in an Easter congratulatory message by his media aid, Lere Olayinka in Ado-Ekiti kn Friday. In his words, the former kkm the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ had given mankind the hope that no situation was beyond the divine power of God.

5. Nasarawa Gov-elect lauds Buhari, Pledges to Implementation New Minimum Wage. 

Engr. Abdulahi Audu Sule, the Nasarawa state governor- Elect, has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for signing the bill into Law.

He promise to implement the new minimum wage bill as soon as he got into office in May 29, as the governor of Nasarawa state. He equally referred to the new minimum wage law as a new dawn for Nigerian employees.

6. CAN President Under Fire From The Association. 

The President of CAN has been heavily criticized by the coalition of over 500 Christian groups in Nigeria who rejected the money the President of CAN, Rev. Samson Supo Ayokunle, donated to the families of the victims of Boko Haram insurgents.

The body described the money as blood money because it was obtained from the frequent visits to President Muhammadu Buhari, who does not care about the victims.

7. Onnoghen’s Conviction Shows That The Law Is Respecter of No Man – Presidency. 

The Presidency has described the conviction of former Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Walter Onnoghen by the Code of Conduct Tribunal for false assets declaration as “a major victory for the anti-corruption policy of the Buhari administration”, and that the law is clearly not a respecter of persons.

The Tribunal, led by Justice Usman Danladi has banned Justice Onnoghen from holding public office for ten years for false declaration of his accounts.

Meanwhile, Justice Onnoghen has filed an appeal against the judgement, rejecting the validity of the judgement.

8. Adamawa NUT Expresses Confidence in Governor-elect to Pay N32,000 As Minimum Wage. 

The Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Adamawa State Chapter believes that the incoming administration would be able to afford paying N32,000 minimum wage to all workers in the state.

The Union commended President Muhammadu Buhari, for signing into law the N30,000 new National Minimum Wage.

The Union through its chairman, Rodney Nathan, stated that the state workers should forward to receiving N32,000 as minimum wage.
