Liverpool legend, Graeme Souness has expressed his fears towards Spanish giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona poaching members of the Liverpool Champions League squad like Salah and Mane.
Although Salah and Mane displayed a below par performance at the Champions league finals where they eventually ran out 2-0 winners over Tottenham, the duo played a vital role to getting Liverpool to the finals and Souness is adamant that a move away from Anfield edges closer for the pair each passing day.
He iterated that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are undergoing a rebuilding process and will look to tempt players to the Bernabeu and Nou Camp respectively.
Souness went on to cite the examples of Suarez and Coutinho who both had fantastic careers at Liverpool but couldn’t resist a move to Barcelona when the Catalans came knocking maintaining that he sees this happening once again, this time with Mane and Salah
“We saw that in the past with Luiz Suarez and Philippe Coutinho and even though they enjoyed playing for Liverpool, their heads were turned when Barcelona wanted them. That will happen again now with Salah and Mane.”

Mane has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in recent weeks but the Senegalese is insistent that he is in no rush to leave Liverpool or the Premier League.
Despite Souness concerns for Liverpool and their forwards in Mane and Salah, he thinks the Reds are in good shape following the Champions league title win and suggests that the win in Madrid could signal the start of a new era for Klopp and his men.
“You look at the goalkeeper, the back four, Joel Matip or Joe Gomes that’s a back five that can play together for eight or ten years, barring injury.
“Trent Alexander is going to be a fantastic player, he’s got a wicked right foot, Andy Robertson can be there for a long time. They can add to the squad they have now and improve the depth, but they have the basis of a team there that can go on for many years.
