Crystal palace were the first to notch a goal in the 34th-minute as Andros Townsend converted a Wilfred Zaha’s low cross from close range.

Salah appeared to throw himself to the ground in the penalty box after contact from Palace defender, Mamadou Sakho but referee, Jon Moss was quick to wave away any appeals for penalty.

There were chances aplenty by both teams but none seemed enough to trouble the goalkeepers match.

However, few minutes after the restart it was Mohammed Salah who had the goal for the reds. The Egyptian instinctively slotted the ball home after a deflected shot from a Van Dijk strike for his 49th Premier League goal.

With both sides square, Liverpool took control of the game with Robertson trying a shot at goal but it went just wide off the post.

The Reds’ dominant play however paid off in the 53rd minute when Firmino’s shot deflected off a Palace defender and crept past third-choice goalkeeper, Speroni.

Soon enough it was James Tomkins who had the leveler. He took the game by the scruff of the neck just minutes after the hour with a header from a well-taken corner.

Salah wasn’t going to give up soon as the Egyptian gave the home side the lead again when he tapped in the ball after Speroni misjudged a cross from James Milner.

Soon after, in the 89th minute, Milner was sent off for an early shower after receiving a second yellow for the night.

The hopes of Palace salvaging a point ended when Sadio Mane took the game home by netting another in stoppage time.
But the resilient Eagles proved themselves a Bogey team once more after Max Meyer gave the Eagles the third for the night

Liverpool 4-3 Crystal Palace it ended.
