Madagascar Allegedly Sends Its COVID-19 Herbal Cure To Nigeria

The Republic of Madagascar has allegedly sent its herbal drug – COVID Organics (COV) – to Nigeria.

The drug, which is said to be for the prevention and cure of COVID-19, was sent to Equatorial Guinea from where it will be airlifted to Abuja.

It was also reported that National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has set up a team of experts in partnership with the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) to subject the herbal drug to further clinical trials before they are used in the country.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government is yet to make an official statement.

Madagascar has recorded no death so far and 101 people of the 193 confirmed cases in the country have recovered.
