Man Arrested For Stabbing Colleague To Death Over Sewing Machine
Sadique Ahmed, 20, has been apprehended by the police for allegedly stabbing his friend to death for taking possession of his sewing machine without the permission of the deceased.
It was gathered that Sadique Ahmed is a tailor. He stabbed his friend and also his fellow tailor identified to be Babangida Umar, 20, in the neck because Babangida Umar took possession of his sewing machine without his permission.
Sources have reported that the tragic incident took place at the Zango area within the Bauchi metropolis.
Umar Mohammed, who is the father of the deceased, informed newsmen in Bauchi state yesterday that he was present at the market square when one of his children informed him on the tragic news.

Umar Mohammed, the father of the deceased stated that:
“I was sitting with my friends at the market after the Sahur prayers on Saturday when the younger brother to the deceased ran to meet me and told me that I should come home because Sara Suka (political thugs) had killed Babangida.
“On my way home, I met some people carrying him to the hospital; so, we stopped a tricycle and we rushed him to the hospital. But I believe at that time he had died.
“Honestly, I was not happy at all; I was very sad when I heard the news. My mind was really troubled but I accept it as destiny.
“The boy, who committed this act, is my son’s friend until a misunderstanding happened between them.”
The tragic incident happened on the 5th of January 2019. 2 other suspects identified as Mamman Adamu, 25 and Adamu Isa, 18, have both been arrested in connection with the murder of Babagnda Umar. In addition, the prime suspect was also arrested and there would be a thorough investigation amongst the trio to determine the murderer.
