Manchester United Claim Win Over Brighton and Hove Albion

Manchester United fans all across the world won’t only be celebrating a 3-1 win over a Brighton and Hove Albion side who thumped Tottenham to a 3-0 win. It’s the revelation of a new left-back prospect that should bring smiles across their faces.

Brandon Williams was beyond spectacular for Manchester United. Added to his attacking capabilities, he had the bite and aggression typical of United players of old.

A suspension to Ashley Young gave the youngster an opportunity to shine forth, and he did just that. The young lad ticked all the boxes typical of a modern day full-back – attack prowess, composure, calmness and lovely inswinging crosses.

Lightning speed Daniel James was electrifying on the right flank, forcing counters and regularly causing worries for Brighton’s defence.

Fred and McTominay formed a good partnership at the middle of the park, so much so that, most United fans would no longer remember that they still have a certain Paul Pogba on the roster who’s currently not featuring due to an injury.

It was a flurry of goals for Manchester United as well as a flurry of misses for Marcus Rashford. It could have been an easy hattrick for the English man but he three away his chances.

Martial looked a bit lazy in the attack but was still able to manage two assists.

United got on the scoresheet just inside of twenty minutes. Andrea Perreira shot on goal with his weaker foot only for it to be deflected into Matt Ryan’s goal.

Two minutes later, McTominay forced a second goal through the legs of Ryan only for it to be tucked into goal as an own goal.

Rashford then got the third after Martial turned his back to gold to gift the English man a good chance to score on a platter of gold.

Fred sent Martial through on goal and with the Frenchman unable to get a chance at goal, he sent the ball through to Rashford who converted beautifully.
