Messi And Teammates Agree 70% Wage Cut During Coronavirus Crisis

Barcelona captain and talisman, Lionel Messi has admitted that Barcelona players will be taking a 70percent pay cut from their salaries to help the Catalan side cope with the financial losses incurred during the break enforced by the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Blaugrana captain also said that asides taking huge wage cuts, members of the team will be making donations to ensure that members of the non-playing staff were still paid 100percent of their salaries.

A host of other Barcelona players including striker, Luis Suarez also shared similar post showing that the rest of the squad were on the same page as regards donations and a wage cut.
