Mike Ezuruonye Calls For Nigeria To Take A Cue From Ghana International Airport

Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye has taken a subtle jibe at Nigeria and its governing leaders on the back of a recent visit to Ghana.

The actor seemed impressed with what his eyes met at Ghana International Airport as he went on to praise Ghanaians for constructing such an edifice on African soil.

Nigeria might have been called the Giant of Africa sometime in the past but the country no longer looks like its living up to that name. It’s been plagued by recession, corruption and a barrage of crime and related activities from several regions of the country.

Mike Ezuruonye opines that Nigeria and its leaders take a cue from the beauty at Ghana International Airport

Mike suggested via his post that the West African country were great at harnessing their resources and putting it to good use.

He went on to put it in the face of Nigeria and its Governing leaders imploring them to latch on to such moves.

“Shout out to my Brothers and Sisters in Ghana…..Your AIRPORT is BEAUTIFULLLL and a Testimony to AFRICAN POLITICIANS and LEADERS that we have enough RESOURCES to make some STANDARDS AMENITIES POSSIBLE……Naija Leaders Take note o”

By strict definition, Nigeria can only boast of five International Airports in Murtala Mohammed International Airport (Lagos), Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport (Abuja), Akanu Ibiam International Airport (Enugu), Port Harcourt International Airport and Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (Kano).

That said, only the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos is worthy of that title with the Airport at Abuja at a deplorable state at the moment.

Important to realize also is that a new terminal has been constructed and inaugurated in the month of December last year, 2016, at the Abuja Airport which could make it compete favourably with the very best of Airports all across Africa.
