Missing Player – Emiliano Sala Panic Message Uncovered

Yesterday, a private plane – the Piper Malibu – disappeared from the radar while travelling over English route, further investigations led to the discovery that the plane belongs to new Cardiff record-signing, Emiliano Sala. The former Nantes player and a pilot were the only two occupants of the missing plane.

Cardiff in a bid to bolster their attacking options signed the 28-yr-old player for a club record fee of about £15m according to BBC. This came after Neil Warnock, Cardiff manager, watched a Nantes game against Marseille.

Since the disappearance of the plane, search parties have been organized. However the plane and its occupants haven’t been discovered .

That said, the rescue operations were suspended last night due to strengthening winds, reducing visibility and worsening sea conditions according to the Police. Meanwhile, its been reported the search will commence once again this morning.

What is however threatening is the message the player was purported to have sent to his friend and former teammate at Bordeaux, Diego Rolan.

In the message, Sala is said to have expressed his fears at being missing and not being able to be found. He claimed that the plane was tearing apart and he and the pilot were in great danger. The 28-yr-old said:

“Boys I’m here on top of the plane that looks like it’s about to fall apart and I’m going to Cardiff, crazy, tomorrow we already started. In the afternoon we started to train boys, in my new team”

He later sent another message saying;

“If you do not have any more news form me in an hour and a half, I don’t know if they need to get someone to find me…..I’m getting scared”

According to the Sun, the plane could only take-off after four attempts. The Argentine was said to have sent messages and several calls across to friends with one in particular stating that he was dead already.
