‘My Degree in Surveying will be a great asset to Lagos State’ Sanwo-Olu

– Lagos State Governor-elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has disclosed that his expert knowledge in surveying will be an asset to the state

– This comes after Sanwo-Olu was honoured by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV

The Lagos state Governor-Elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was yesterday honoured by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV on Thursday night during the body 13th Honours Award Night.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu revealed this via his Twitter account Today, where he disclosed that he had a first degree in surveying.

The Lagos State Governor-elect added that he understands the role played by surveyors in the management and maintenance of public infrastructures.

Babajide Sanwo further revealed that his expert knowledge in the field of surveying will be a great asset that will help in transforming Lagos state.

He said, “With a first degree in Surveying, I understand the role played by surveyors in the management & maintenance of public infrastructures. Thank you to the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers(NIESV) Lagos for honouring me at the 13th Honours Awards Night yesterday.

I believe my expert knowledge in the field of surveying will be a great asset as we transform the face of public infrastructure #ForAGreaterLagos.”
In a previous report, it was alleged that the Lagos state Governor-elect stated that he would clear off the Apapa gridlock within 60 days after he comes to power among other promises.
However, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has denied the claim as he stated that he didn’t say anything of such, although, the Federal Government has given directives that the Apapa gridlock be cleared.
In another report, Babajide Sanwo-Olu will be inaugurated as the new Governor of Lagos State in less than one week from now when he would take over from Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode.
