NCDC Officials Visit Contacts With Positive Cases [Photos]

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has continued its contact tracing by visiting some of the contacts in Lagos.

This was revealed by the government agency via its Twitter handle.

“Contact tracing is ongoing to identify those who came in contact with confirmed cases of #COVID19Nigeria. While in self-isolation, the contacts are monitored daily for 14 days Today our Rapid Response Team made a home visit to a contact in Lagos to assess his health & well-being,” the tweet reads.

There were four new cases of COVID19 yesterday in Nigeria with three from the FCT and 1 from  Lagos.

Presently, there are 139 confirmed cases in Nigeria, with nine discharged and two deaths recorded so far.

A breakdown of cases by states shows Lagos at 82, FCT- 28, Oyo- 8, Osun- 5, Ogun- 4, Kaduna- 3, Enugu- 2, Edo- 2, Bauchi- 2, Ekoti- 1, Rivers-1, and Benue- 1.
