Neymar Reportedly Agree 5-Year Deal With Barcelona Including A Pay Cut

Neymar have reportedly agreed a five year deal at Barcelona according to a report by news outlet, Sport who claim that both parties have agreed to a deal.

The Brazil forward who is increasingly unhappy in Paris has been linked with a move back to Spain ever since his departure from Barcelona.

That said, the deal can’t be made except the Blaugranas and the Parisians agree a transfer fee.

PSG winger, Neymar is in fact rumoured to be willing to accept a pay cut to make the move to the Camp Nou a reality. The Brazilian currently earns about €36.8 million and is said to be willing to take a €12 million bringing his yearly earnings to €24 million.

Nonetheless, this sum is similar to the sum he was learning before he made the mega move to Paris, France.

It was reported sometime last week that both clubs were in advanced negotiations for the capture of the former Santos man with Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti thought to be involved in the deal to offset a part of the Brazilian’s huge transfer fee.

It was also said that Messi and Luis Suarez were thought to be pushing for a a return of their former No. 11, a missing piece in their front line puzzle – the formidable MSN.

Paris Saint Germain triggered a €222 million release clause two seasons ago to bring Neymar to Paris, the French capital. Since then, the mesmerising forward and now injury-prone player has lifted five title since his arrival in Paris including the French treble in his first season.

Neymar still hasn’t helped the French giants to a Champions league trophy, the sole reason for his purchase. He has instead had to deal with far too many injuries, suspensions and controversies. He is currently dealing with a rape case said to have happened a few months ago.
