Nigerian journalist Ruona Meyer Receives Emmy Nomination For Documentary ‘Sweet Sweet Codeine’

Ruona Meyer, a Nigerian investigative journalist received an Emmy nomination for her video documentary, Sweet Sweet Codeine.

Ruona Meyer documentary contains findings she found after investigating the people behind Nigeria’s cough syrup crisis. Since its release on BBC Nigeria a year ago, the documentary has broken several records and nominated/won some awards.

This includes a nomination for an International Emmy in the ‘News and Current Affairs’ Category
