Nigerians Praise FG for Rescuing Trafficked Lady Omolola Ajayi in Lebanon
Praises have continued to pour in for the Federal Government after rescuing a 23-year-old lady, Omoloa Ajayi, trafficked to Lebanon.
Ajayi is now in the custody of the Nigerian Embassy in Beirut.
According to the lady whos made this known via a video that went viral, she was brought to the country to teach English language but later discovered that she was recruited as a sex slave.

Ajayi, who was crying in the video calling for the help of the Federal Government in rescuing her as she wanted to return home.
“My plan was to be teaching pupils English Language in Lebanon. On getting here, the person that brought me seized my passport. I was wondering what happened. I later knew I had been sold off to slavery.
“If I am sick, they won’t take me to hospital. They will only give me drugs. Half of the people whom we came here together have died. I am appealing to Femilick Life Support to come to my aid. I don’t want to die here. I need help to return home.
“The person I live with wants to rape me, but I have been resisting him. He collected my phone and said he would not give me the phone until I accept to have sex with him. It is when he sleeps or goes out that I manage to pick the phone where he keeps it,” she added.

Unbelievable! We are in a new Nigeria, I remember being stranded in Egypt about 18 years ago. Cried tears and blood, but the embassy wouldn’t even issue me a Traveling Certificate to return home. Now @NigeriaGov through @nidcom_gov are actively rescuing people. Kudos!??????

Weldone. I saw the girl’s video and was touched, did not know that help would come at least this fast. Your pragmatic intervention is very commendable. This is the way to enhance citizens trust in their government.
