Nigerians React To Pastor Adeboye’s Advice To Young Ministers
Pastor Enoch Adeboye of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has lent his voice to the recent rape allegations against pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA.
In his long speech, the pastor stated that young pastors should be careful because whatever they hide will eventually be exposed.
The statement that sparked varying opinions amongst Nigerians was when he said he never works with a woman as a P.A because “when a woman accuses you of something, nobody will listen to you whether you’re right or wrong; be wise! I’m old fashioned, but I’m still surviving since I was ordained; it’s better to be old fashioned & live than modern and die.”
Many have reacted to this statement, while some praised him, some criticized him for ‘reducing rape to temptation and false accusations from women.’

“What do you people want”
A clear unequivocal statement that makes it clear rape is not just a “thing done in the dark” but a violent crime that is hated by the church and punished by the law. That the church loves and stands by women that have been violated and wants to help.— Abike (@Jollz) July 6, 2019
Pastor Enoch Adeboye got it wrong.
Your daddy GO has succeeded in reducing the rape conversation to "flee from women" and "i don't have female secretaries".
Women didn't seduce Biodun Fatoyinbo. They accused Biodun Fatoyinbo of rape.
Daddy GO is not infallible.

What did Adeboye say that was so bad or grossly innapropriate reasoning for someone his age and "time". Shebi in the process of unlearning and relearning you people will throw all your parents away or does this outrage energy end on Twitter?

Pastor: “remove women from around you so you dont fall to temptation” as a solution for rape and sexual abuse of power
Us men: “yes, he’s right”
Women: “don’t trust any man because they’re likely to rape or abuse you”
Us men: “you’re just bitter and delusional”— Polysaccharide Patriach (@bigbrutha_) July 6, 2019

I feel compelled to say some things to those that are young and up and coming ministers.
What I want to say is from the Bible:
1. There is nothing hid that shall not come to the open or made manifest. Mark 4:22@PastorEAAdeboye#SwimmingInGlory7#BornToBeGreat
