NNPC Is Trending, This is Why
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is a talking pint on the Twitter community over the recently released list of new employees into its system.
With a lot thinking that the employment process won’t be transparent after the government agency released the list if 1050 employed from the 60,000 applicants that took part in the recruitment exam, there have been testimonials from some users that they know people who got the job without knowing anyone in the commission.

Break up NNPC!!!
The reason so many people think its a big deal to be employed by a non profit making state oil firm is because there’s so much corruption in there, they think it’s an opportunity to get their own share of national cake. https://t.co/GrIo3x4xgY— the Guy (@unpopulargvy) February 15, 2020

Complain about insecurity, cronyism, ease of doing business.
Lobby towards a competent leader, you won’t
That’s how some of you believed NNPC privatisation was a bad idea
Because you feel Niger Delta oil is your divine right
Then after elections, you complain about subsidies

Thanks NNPC, even though i didn’t make it past the CBT stage, i’m so glad my best friend got the job. With this, i can attest that the exercise was 98% transparent cos my guy didn’t know anybody at NNPC, yet he got the job.
Congratulations to the successful candidates.— Jima (@awalaboy001) February 15, 2020
