The Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress AAC, Omoyele Sowore has disclosed that he wouldn’t step down for any candidate in the coming election.

He made this known during the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon race where he was the guest yesterday as he said he is on a mission to fix Nigeria.

Sowore hinted that the adoption of a consensus candidate by other parties wouldn’t deter him.

He added that he wouldn’t step down for anybody because he and the other candidates don’t have anything in common.

The AAC candidate in his statement said,

“I have a passion to fix Nigeria which has been there since I was younger. I am working on how this country can achieve the desired greatness.

“I am propelled by the appalling situation of this country that in spite of its abundance, we have yet to achieve anything; the older generation has failed the country.

“I am aware of some presidential candidates stepping down or the coalition of political parties having a consensus candidate. I won’t step down for anybody.

“I am not stepping down for any candidate because we don’t have anything in common. We are in the injury time before the election, so no stepping down.”

Omoyele Sowere disclosed that he wouldn’t be intimidated by political money bags as he hinted that he is used to the political terrain of the country.

This recent statement from the AAC Presidential candidate comes after some presidential candidates in some political parties step down to choose a consensus candidate for the coming presidential election.
