‘Ozil Would Consider A Move To Fernabache’ – Elneny

Arsenal midfielder and loanee, Elneny believes that colleague, Mesut Ozil could also follow in his footsteps and move to Turkey.

Elneny believes that the German at some point in his career would consider a move to Fernabache.

The Egyptian made a switch away from the Emirates Stadium on a season-long deal in the summer of 2019.

While the Egypt International currently features for Fernabache, he remains in contact with folks back in North London.

Ozil is thought to be among those regulars he’s always in contact with. With the illustrious midfielder eager to know how things work in far-away capital of Turkey, Istanbul.

The World Cup winner has strong ties to the club, ties he shares with his mother and to which he has hinted in the past.

Ozil is contracted to remain at the Emirates till 2021 but would be free to make a switch to any side once his contract is run down.

For Elneny in an interview with Bein Sports, Ozil’s next point of call would naturally be Fernabache.

“Mesut really loves Fenerbahce. He’s always speaking about the club and the fans.

“If you ask me, I think he could come to Fenerbahce. He’s always trying to annoy me by singing Fenerbahce chants.”

The agent of the former Germany International stated back in 2015 that a switch to Turkey could be made, saying: “If he were to leave then Fenerbahce would be an option.

“At the end of the day it is a huge club and I think Ozil would say yes to an offer if it came down to it.”

Ozil in the recent past speaking about his future said: “After this season I have one more year, so after that I will know because I can’t see the future.

“The thing I can do is give everything for the team, for myself, to be successful and let’s see what happens.”
