PDP calls for travel ban on Gov Nasir El-Rufai over threat

– PDP has called on the international communities to place a travel ban on the Gov of Kaduna, Nasir El-Rufai

– The Governor in an earlier statement said all international observers who tries to interfere in the country’s election will return to their countries in body bags

Following a threatening statement made by the Gov. of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai about killing international observers that tries to interfere in the electoral process in the country on National TV, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP have called on the international community to place a travel ban on the Kaduna state Governor.

The PDP made it known that the  inciting statement made by Nasir El-Rufai is against peaceful elections in the country.

According to the PDP, it disclosed that it would have to review the Peace Accord that was signed.

The PDP also urged the National Peace Committee to summon Nasir El-Rufai over his inflammatory remark.

After due consideration of comments, threats and incendiary actions by the APC  and Muhammadu Buhari which are directly inimical to a peaceful, free and fair election, the PDP is left with no option than to consider a review of its signatory in the National peace accord.”

We, therefore, call on the National Peace Committee to immediately summon El-Rufai on his inflammatory remarks against peaceful election in our country.”

“Nigerians are still in a shock over comments by the Governor of Kaduna state, El-Rufai, who declared on national TV that members of the global democratic institutions that are working for a peaceful election in Nigeria will return to their countries in body bags. What a threat?”

The PDP as well called on the international communities to place a travel ban on Governor El-Rufai.
