The hashtag #PHCSerialKiller has been a trending topic on the social media with many condemning series of killings of ladies especially in hotels in Port Harcourt.
Some groups have protested the killing and urged the authorities to take the necessary step in stopping crime. They call for protections of girls in the hands of serial killers.
The call is coming on the heels of the killing of a young girl in a hotel in a hotel situated in Obo Road, Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The girl according to a witness is just a teenager whose corpse was found lying with her clothes in the hotel room with her killer nowhere to be found. Her hands were tied behind her back with a white cloth, as well as her legs and neck.”
Meanwhile, users of Twitter social media have been reacting to the issue calling for immediate action to put a stop to the wicked act.
Congratulations guys! You have left the conversation about creating awareness against the activities of the #PHCSerialKiller and @PoliceNG‘s inaction and turned to the rights and wrongs of prostitution. Gender gymnastics wins. ??

The recent killings in Port Harcourt is really sad. I’m hoping the State Government and other Security agencies will fish out these killers. We must protect our women. #PHCSerialKiller #ProtectPHWomen
