Police IG Orders Arrest Of Officers Who Assaulted A Man, Justice Obasi In Enugu State (Video)
The Enugu State Police Command, under the directives of the IGP has arrested three policemen who assaulted a young man, Justice Obasi.
A man identified as Nwachukwu Abiama on Twitter shared a video showing how Obasi was being beaten by 3 policemen in Enugu State.
He explained that they chased after the young man and demanded to search his phone after labelling him a fraudster. However, Obasi refused to unlock his phone and they beat him up.
Nwachukwu Abiama shared this on Twitter tagging the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Twitter page and demanding justice for the young man.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force has now made a post on Twitter announcing that the 3 policemen involved in assaulting Justice Obasi have been arrested.
The policemen are currently in custody pending the commencement of their Orderly Room Trial – an internal disciplinary procedure of the Force.

He further assures that citizen Justice Obasi will certainly get justice in this case.
