Muhammadu Buhari on New Media also confirmed the report, he wrote, “President Muhammadu Buhari meets with the two main contenders for the Senate Presidency of the 9th Assembly, Sen. Danjuma Goje and Sen. Ahmed Lawan. Gov. Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State was also in the meeting.”
