– Pres. Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Abuja today
– The Pres. arrived in the country’s capital after traveling to his hometown in Daura, Katsina state to participate in the 2019 Governorship and State Assembly Election
According to a new report, Nigerian Pres., Muhammadu Buhari has arrived at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja after he travelled to his home town in Daura to participate in the Governorship and State Assembly Election, which took place on the 9th of March.
The report made it known that the Pres. alongside his wife, Mrs. Aisha Buhari and some aides touched down at the Nnamdi Azikwe international airport at about 12:30 pm today.
Chief of Staff, Malam Abba Kyari, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammed Bello, some other presidential aides and some government officials were on ground to welcome to the President at the airport.
According to the reports, President Muhammadu Buhari while at his hometown, Daura, exercised his civic responsibility on March 9 at the polling unit 003, Kofar Baru III (A and B) Katsina State, where he voted for a governorship candidate and also for a member of the state house of assembly that would represent his constituency, Daura.
A report revealed that after the voting exercise on Saturday, President Muhammdu Buhari once again successfully delivered his polling unit to the All Progressives Congress APC governorship candidate in the state, Aminu Masari, who had a total of 370 votes from the polling unit.
During his stay in Daura, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari received development association from Daura Emirate and representatives of the community at his private house as they came to congratulate him over his victory in the Feb 23rd Presidential Election.
Also among the visitors were the President’s old school mates, and the Katsina state Governor, Aminu Masari.
