– Bishop Lanre Obembe passed away at the age of 63

A latest report has made it known that Pres. Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently out of the country on a private visit in the United Kingdom UK has sent his condolences to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN over the death of Bishop Lanre Obembe.

This latest statement was released by the Special aide to Pres. Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina.

Femi Adeshina described the late cleric as an inspiration to many young people.

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari in his statement sent his heartfelt message to the family of the late Bishop Lanre, friends and the Christian bodies in general.

He added that Bishop Lanre Obembe will not be easily forgotten for his good works he did before he passed away.

Below is the statement released by Femi Adeshina, he said, “President Buhari sends heartfelt condolence to the family, relations, friends, and to Christendom in general, on the passage of Bishop Lanre Obembe of El Shaddai Bible Church, with headquarters in Lagos.”

The President believes that his footprints would be indelible on the sands of time, and urges all those who mourn the gifted preacher to be comforted by the fact that Obembe served God and man with great zeal, and such labour of love never go unrewarded.

“May his soul rest in peace and his good works be sustained by those he left behind.”

Bishop Lanre Obembe during his lifetime was the former chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), and he reportedly said died on Tuesday at the age of 63.
