Pres. Muhammadu Buhari to be in Lagos tomorrow to inaugurate some projects

– President Muhammadu Buhari will pay an official visit to Lagos State tomorrow to inaugurate some projects

– The Lagos State Government has also advised Lagosians on their movement tomorrow as the president visits

Earlier Today, the Lagos State Government disclosed that it would host Pres. Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday on an official visit to the state.

According to the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy, the President during his one day visit will inaugurate some new projects embarked upon by the Lagos State Government.

Extract from the statement released disclosed that Pres. Buhari will inaugurate “the rehabilitated 10-lane Oshodi/Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road, and the 170-Bed Ayinke House (Maternity Hospital) at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja.”

The President will also inaugurate “the Lagos State Theatre at Oregun in Ikeja, new 820 Mass Transit buses and the multi-level Oshodi Transport Interchange on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway.”

According to the report made available, President Buhari is scheduled to be in Lagos State between 9.00 a.m and 3.00 p.m on Wednesday.

For this reason, the Lagos State Government disclosed that during the visit traffic on some routes will be diverted ”in order to ensure a free flow of traffic.”

The Lagos State Government disclosed that some routes will be affected by traffic control as it listed the routes to include, the Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way (coming from the presidential wing of Murtala Muhammed Airport to LASUTH under bridge); Kodesoh Road; Obafemi Awolowo Way; Kudirat Abiola Way and Ikorodu Road (between the Ojota Intersection and Anthony Interchange).

Others include the Oworonshoki-Apapa Expressway (between Anthony and Oshodi Transport Interchange) and the International Airport road through the Local Wing of the airport to Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way and back to the Obafemi Awolowo Way.

The Lagos State Government advised Lagosians to ply other available routes tomorrow.
