Reactions trail as another Abacha Loot is set to be Recovered
– Nigerians have reacted to the report that another looted fund by late Gen. Sanni Abacha is set to be recovered
According to a report made public on Tuesday, it was disclosed that another looted funds belonging to late Nigerian former Head of State, Gen. Sanni Abacha has been seized from a Jersey Bank Account.
The report added that the money was ”derived from corruption” during the military rule of late Gen. Sanni Abacha in the 1990s, according to Jersey Civil Asset and Recovery Fund.
It was disclosed that the money amounted to the sum of £210 million and would be shared between Nigeria, Jersey and the US.
